Preachers of Divine Mercy: First batch moves into Novitiate

Today on the Feast of Divine Mercy, the first batch of postulants moved into Novitiate. The ceremony was solemnised by Most Rev. Mar Jacob Manathodath, Bishop of Palakkad Diocese at the PDM monastery at Divine Mercy Hills, Attapady. His Grace was the main celebrant of the Holy Mass alongwith Rev. Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil, Rev. Fr. Binoy Karimaruthinkal, Rev. Fr. Soji Olikkal and Rev. Fr. Samson Manoor. Following the ceremony, Rev. Fr. Binoy Karimaruthinkal assumed the responsibility of Novice Master from hereon. Sr. Amy, Co-Founder of Abhishekagni Sisters of Jesus and Mary (ASJM) and Sr. Benitamma alongwith other priests and Sehion team members also participated in the solemn ceremony and offered their prayers and wishes.

Rev. Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil and Rev. Fr. Binoy Karimaruthinkal are the co-founders of Preachers of Divine Mercy (PDM) which was instituted by Most Rev. Mar Jacob Manathodath, Bishop of Palakkad Diocese on 24 April 2018. Having renounced the worldly desires, the novitiates will now lead a monastic life of penance and prayer, studying the Word of God and preparing themselves to preach the Divine Mercy of God throughout the world.
